We stayed at the Meandering Moose for three nights and it truly felt like a home away from home. The owners were incredibly friendly and personable, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous and the upstairs suite we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. One of the highlights was the rural atmosphere, and we even got to see cute bunnies hopping around the yard. If we ever find ourselves back in this area, we know exactly where we'll be staying!

The Meandering Moose is a cozy and welcoming place to stay. We loved the secluded location, surrounded by nature and wildlife. Kathy & Christie, the hosts, were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The property itself is beautifully designed and the accommodations spacious and comfortable. As vegetarians, we appreciated the options available to us and enjoyed the Alaskan experience.

Comfy beds: The beds at this lodging were the most comfortable we experienced during our entire trip to Alaska. It made for a great night's sleep. Friendly owners: The owners of this place were very friendly and welcoming. They even provided us with bear spray and loaned us a cooler for our day trip. They were always ready to help and make our stay pleasant.

Difficult to find: The signage for this place was minimal, and it took us a while to find it. Better signage would be helpful for future guests.

our recent stay at a bnb in talkeetna was meh, but meandering moose lodging blew us away. from the friendly staff to the charming cabin, everything felt perfect. the solitude and private firepit were just what we needed. highly recommended for families or friends traveling together!

We got great value for our money at Meandering Moose! The room was cozy and the owners were so friendly and welcoming. The location was beautiful and we even spotted some adorable bunnies in the yard.
